Veterinarians

Dr. Stewart Roberts

Stewart F Roberts, DVM

Veterinarian

Dr. Stewart Roberts graduated from Auburn University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1982. He spent his first year out of veterinary school in Lawrenceburg Kentucky, working mostly with farm animals and broodmares. In 1984 he moved to Concord and opened Concord Animal Clinic where he practiced for 16 years, during which time he developed a special interest in dermatology, dentistry, and surgery.

In 1999 Dr. Roberts sold Concord Animal Clinic to a veterinary corporation called Vet Cor and was hired to become Chief of Staff at the Cabarrus Emergency Veterinary Clinic. Emergency medicine and critical care always provide a challenge and often a new learning experience.

In December of 2007, Dr. Roberts was offered the opportunity to purchase Concord Animal Clinic back, and he did. Concord Parkway Animal Hospital was opened on December 4, 2007. When not at work, Dr. Roberts can be seen riding his bicycle on the back roads of Cabarrus County.
